Thanksgiving (Canadian version) is an excellent Holiday because it brings (most) families together in a joyous and festive celebration that glorifies the consumption of (arguably) the worlds UGLIEST animal – - TURKEY
Good thing Turkey doesn’t taste how it looks! HAHAHAHAHA…..*sigh* (but I digress)
In case you didn’t know, Thanksgiving was based on the pilgrims coming over in the MayFLOWER.
Apparently upon arrival, they cooked a copious amount of food and enjoyed each others company….
When I was in FIRST GRADE, my teacher asked us to create a project for Thanksgiving. We had to design our own “pilgrim face” out of construction paper. It would then be laminated and used as a place mat for the dinner table. Mine was the DOPEST (AKA most artistic) in the entire class! The only problem was the teachers assistant messed it up during the laminating process and all the colors ran together destroying my work of excellence.
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten over it.
Now I just try to focus on the food.

Speaking of Edmonton artists, I used to watch this guy play outside the Army & Navy while Whyte Ave was happenin’ on a Friday and Saturday night. There is nothing better than stumbling out of a bar and watching him play an acoustic rendition of “Billie Jean”.

With things so busy, it’s been hard to post all I’ve wanted to say lately. I’ve mostly just resorted to Youtube vids, and short entries. The SEX-ED video/docu-drama is going very well, and should be finished SOOOON. We did a photo shoot today (which was REXcellent) and we are currently working on a REMIX in our Greenhouse Studio Space.
ALSO, we have a show coming up. It’s 99% confirmed. Wait till it’s 100% and I’ll reveal the time and location. HOW MUCH FUN IS THAT?
