I used to love Teddy Ruxpin…he was like my best friend at one point. He would tell me stories and I would be whisked away into imaginationland by his soothing and instantly familiar voice.

According to these Youtube vids, it seems Teddy Ruxpin was marketed in a couple different ways. First, as the zany lab creation of some mad scientist (above) or as a child hypnosis tool used to make kids pay attention (below).

Teddy, you will truly be missed….
