Fuck you Ableton! You’re a disaster!
This used to happen to me all the time when I was teaching myself how to sample with my Korg Triton two summers ago. I would spend endless hours making crazy beats and then upon saving would find out that all my work had been lost! I swear to God, one time I thought I lost over 20 new song ideas…I called up my ex apologizing for what a dick I’d been in the past because I thought it was God trying to spite me.
But then they all came back thank Jesus/Allah/Mohammad!
I’ve been recently exploring Ableton for writing. Tonight I created this monster slamming dumptruck crazy ass beat only to have the program crash on me and refuse to re-open.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
P.S. – Logic never does this….
Do I hopelessly pray and continue trying to open the session in a sad attempt to salvage what remains, or should I just move on?
My mind is sayin’ yes, but my heart is sayin’ no

Don’t know if you’ve heard of Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti yet, but their new record just dropped. It’s being hailed as the greatest thing ever (Pitchfork gave it a 9 OUT OF 10).
REALLY??
Yeah it’s kinda dope cuz it sounds like it was recorded in the 60′s but a 9!? Not only that, but the best song on the album is a cover of an actual 60′s band called The Rockin’ Romrods!

This month has been a blur! Anthony and Jay are in Toronto doing fun stuff while Farshad and I hold it down here in Vancouver.
We’ve been taking care of the final tracks for our soon to be released record and sorting out all the promo stuff . On Monday, everything is back in full swing as we race to finish DIRTY RADIO!
