This Jimi Hendrix performance is crazy! He calls “Hey Joe” rubbish, dedicates a song to Eric Clapton and Cream, and gets pulled off the stage by the BBC near the end of the 10 minute set. The final moments are completely hilarious!
Also, John Henry Bohnam – I like to think we are a lot alike.

ANATOMY OF A JAPANESE FOLK MONSTER

The Kuro-kamikiri (“black hair cutter”) is a large, black-haired creature that sneaks up on women in the street at night and surreptitiously cuts off their hair….yikes….
Kasha, a messenger of hell, is a fiery monster known for causing typhoons at funerals. Anatomical features include powerful lungs for generating typhoon-force winds that can lift coffins and carry the deceased away, as well as a nose for sniffing out funerals, a tongue that can detect wind direction, and a pouch containing ice from hell….whoa
Yanagi-baba (“willow witch”) is the spirit of 1,000-year-old willow tree. Anatomical features include long, green hair resembling leafy willow branches, wrinkled bark-like skin, a stomach that supplies nourishment directly to the tree roots, a sac for storing tree sap, and a cane cut from the wood of the old tree. Although Yanagi-baba is relatively harmless, she is known to harass passersby by snatching umbrellas into her hair, blowing fog out through her nose, and spitting tree sap…..what a bitch.

We all went to see Despicable Me in theaters tonight. I had no idea Pharrell did the soundtrack. My fave track was def during the end credits and has Robin Thicke on it.
This other one kinda sounds like an NERD track from Fly or Die.

Lately, I’ve been having the strangest feelings….and keep in mind I’ve already hit puberty.
Currently, things are happening in the world that have had a profound impact on my views and the way I’ve began to conduct my daily routine/live my life.
Heavy conversations usually suck, but I keep telling myself that if I ignore what’s happening then I’m no better than the dude that eats steak in the first Matrix movie.
“ignorance is bliss”.
First of all, has anyone heard THIS NEWS?
It’s basically a breakdown of how we potentially could have some serious problems in the next 6 months because of the methane gasses that have been released in the Mexican Gulf due to the Oil Spill.
Apparently the ocean floor (among other things) could collapse at any time swallowing up the earth and causing a huge tsunami blah blah blah you get the picture.
Here is another article highlighting how the human race will probably not last longer than 100 years from now due to overpopulation, the death of our oceans/eco-system and future climate change…
Is that crazy to say?
Am I totally that dude rocking the sign in crackville screaming “the end is near!”?
Don’t answer that -
plus it’s NOT the point of the post. Remember, I’m an eternal optimist!
If there is a chance that humanity is done for, that means we are living in the most incredible time! Could we all be apart of the last living generation before it all goes down?? (“cough” 2012)
Just in case, I’ve devised a list of things we should all do while we’re waiting around for a catastrophic event to occur:
Skip work and go to a nude beach!
Jump on your bed every morning!
Hug a panda!
Go on a blind date!
Jump out of a plane!
Help an old person do a task!
Give homeless people any spare change and listen to their advice!
Tell your fam you love them even if you have had differences!
Get a one way first class ticket to the other side of the world and stay at the nicest hotel wherever you land!
Spread Love (It’s the Brooklyn way)
Strive to accomplish whatever deep desires you have!
